Kayak built with 86cc 2 stroke Lumik earth auger motor. Mud motor longshaft , Thailand longshaft.
I'm going to use a 86cc earth auger 2 stroke motor and the 65cc pole chainsaw shaft and clutch drum mechanism which I purchased on EBay for 450 Australian dollars to build it as a mud/Thailand longshaft on the back of the kayak. Still going to fab up the back part to attach the motor to the yak and do a fuel tank set-up for it in the next video. I can extend the length by adding more shafts and still have to do some mods on the prop. The prop is a 7 1/4 " prop I purchased from Aliexpress for 45au dollars.AU $22.06 | DIY Gasoline Lawn Mower Modified Boat Propeller Grass Trimmer Brush Cutter Spare Parts General Boat Booster 7T/9T 26/28MM

Nice work, great ideas. Your device looks like it likely has a pinched bend , SEE @ 09:05. Heating/ Annealing the tube before before making this harder bend. OR cut and use a 90* elbow?( or a swage joint)

I use a 30 gallon barrel. I freeze 6 gallon jugs of water the night before distilling. I then use a little giant pump which is great. The entire run stays cold and the little giant is a great pump.

I have a 2" T500 kit with condenser and 4 floor 3" bubble plate kit with 2" to 3" reducer get 96% proof without fail from start to finish and run it at condenser at 51c - 55c max. I take off 250mls heads and get 2.500mls in quality 96%. Bubble plate don't give me tails and the the purity and smell is amazing. I use pure turbo yeast for white spirit and turbo yeast classic 8 for dark spirits. Never use that charcoal or a+b clear just the turbo yeast ONLY. Takes 8 days to finish and with 7g dextrose sugar 1 teaspoon of nutrition and 30Lwater. That's it. Takes roughly 4-5hrs to finish the still. If you run it too fast eg. 77c you get more quantity at lower proof which more like a strip run but I always aim for 96% and water it down to 40% but either way don't matter because you goto water it down. Absolutely love that parrot going to make that one. And your still setup is a beauty 👍👍👍

My preferred method (yours may be more relevant): put the copper mesh and stainless scrubbers into a large mason jar and fill with vinegar. Inspect after a few days: if everything is clean and unrusted, you have reliable material. Rinse well. Insert the copper so that it's at the top of the column, then the stainless in a ratio about 3 x stainless to 1 copper. Finally, pick up the column and then try breathing thru it. If you can't, it's packed too tightly. I avoid ceramics because I have seen them harbour mould in the past in other applications.

Am a newbie to distilling, and my nature is always to find the simplest solution, and you have helped me find that Dan. And for that you have my grateful thanks. I am in a Motorhome in Turkiye. Copper fittings are very hard to find here, can just get 12mm copper pipe, so this is a brilliant condenser solution. Can I brew my mash and distill in a Campervan....Watch this space....Thanks again.

56% silver solder without cadmium is the best for this app. Good mechanical fit would only use a tiny bit. Heat the brass, stainless is a poor conductor. Once the silver melts, it instantly makes the stainless touching the joint at liquidus temperature and prevents over heat which makes black oxide. Use the recommended flux on joint surface.
